partment Maintenance Technician – Student Housing
Location: Milwaukee, WI
Pay: $20–$22 hourly DOE
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Job Summary:
We are hiring an experienced Apartment Maintenance Technician for an 80-unit student housing community in Milwaukee. This role will focus on work orders, turnovers, and maintaining a safe and well-kept property.
Responsibilities:
Perform apartment turnovers and prepare units for new residents
Handle maintenance requests including electrical, plumbing, painting, drywall, and door repairs/replacements
Install and replace doors, screens, and blinds as needed
Maintain grounds and common areas to ensure property standards
Deliver professional communication and excellent customer service to residents and staff
Requirements:
At least 2 years of apartment maintenance experience (student housing experience preferred)
Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle required
Strong communication and customer service skills
Professional, dependable, and detail-oriented
No personal tools required for this position
Compensation:
$20–$22 hourly, based on experience
Monday–Friday schedule with steady hours
