Job Description

QualDerm Partners is actively seeking a skilled and compassionate Dermatology Medical Assistant to join our expanding team. Responsibilities

  • Prepare patients for examinations by taking vital signs and recording medical histories.
  • Assist physicians during examinations and medical procedures, ensuring that all necessary equipment and instruments are available.
  • Perform basic lab tests and adequately prepare specimens for laboratory analysis.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential patient records.
  • Schedule patient appointments and facilitate office communications efficiently.
  • Educate patients about their treatment plans, medications, and skincare routines.
  • Ensure that examination rooms are clean, organized, and well-stocked with necessary supplies.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; certification as a Medical Assistant is preferred.
  • Prior experience as a Medical Assistant or in a similar clinical role is highly valued.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dermatology.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with patients and team members.
  • Ability to manage sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality.
  • Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail in a busy healthcare setting.
  • Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) and basic office software applications.
