About the Role:

The Indirect Consumer Loan Processor concentrates on indirect lending and is responsible for assisting the Consumer Lending Team with all aspects of loan processing, including funding, closing and while adhering to all credit union policies and procedures. Support branch consumer loan origination by processing and preparing closing documents for all consumer loan products as needed. Post close/audit all required closed loans for accuracy. Provide exceptional service to both members, dealers, and Credit Union employees. Look for process improvement and efficiencies in day-to-day working. Manage Team mailbox, prepare and send loan documents, document review, monitor work queues upload documents to loan files, set up new accounts, post loan payments and process subsequent action and skip a pay request. This job and role require accuracy and efficiency due to volumes. Will also include back up for Indirect and Green lending, and assist with reporting, rates, product specifications and procedures.

Hours : Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm

Location : 141 Harvest Lane, Williston, VT

Specific duties include:

• Review loan requests for all products to ensure all documents have been generated and sent for execution via mail, fax or DocuSign. Process, close, and perform all necessary steps to fund all Indirect, consumer and loan products, including Cunexus, with 90 % accuracy, and disburse payment. Verify detail, verify funding, verify documentation, look to assuage fraud and look to be a subject matter expert. Troubleshoot with members if they are having issues signing documents. Maintain and review daily detailed record of all Indirect disbursed loans to ensure all outstanding documents have been returned with appropriate information and signatures.
• Conduct research and analysis on mortgage products and market trends.
• Support the team in maintaining accurate records and databases related to mortgage transactions.
• Participate in team meetings, intern sessions, and company training as designated by your manager.
• Create and deliver a final group presentation about a selected project topic along with their key learnings to a group of stakeholders.
• Conduct and assist with other duties and special projects as requested.
