Position Summary

• We are currently seeking a dependable and hard-working Maintenance Technician for a contract position at a cemetery facility located in Pharr, Texas. This role involves groundskeeping, site preparation for burial services, and general maintenance tasks to ensure the facility is well-kept, presentable, and respectful to visiting families.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and setup for burial services, including placing tents, chairs, and related equipment
• Prepare gravesites, including digging, leveling, and site cleanup
• Perform grounds maintenance duties such as mowing, edging, trimming, and landscaping
• Clean and maintain tools, equipment, and work areas
• Complete general maintenance tasks as directed by the supervisor
• Follow all safety standards and procedures while on the job

Requirements

• 1 2 years of experience in general maintenance, landscaping, or a similar hands-on role preferred
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Strong reliability, punctuality, and work ethic
• Must be able to perform physical labor, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
• No driving, travel, or operation of heavy machinery required
• Compliance with dress code for outdoor, physical work is mandatory
